I hereby give notice that a Meeting of the Stone Rural Parish Council will take place on THURSDAY 14 SEPTEMBER 2023 at Moddershall Village Hall at 7.30pm. Members are asked to inform the Clerk if they are unable to attend.

- Public participation – consider matters raised by members of the public
- Apologies received – acceptance and recording of apologies
- Record declarations of interest from members in any item to be discussed
- Approval of the minutes of the meetings held on 6 July 2023
- Discuss matters arising from the minutes not on the agenda
- Reports from district and county councillors
- Review of the planning committee observations
- Receive the Chairman’s announcements
- Consider matters relating to Moddershall Village Hall
- To agree the minutes of the community meeting on 10 August and discuss outcomes of the meeting
- To consider authorising a septic tank inspection survey and pest control services
- To consider findings of the Legionella report
- To consider replacement of gas cooker in village hall
- To review the draft Contractor Fire Policy
- To agree next steps for the village hall sub-committee
- To agree the quote for Aston By Stone Bus Shelter (Southbound)
- Discuss highway matters on Kibblestone Road
- Discuss improving communications with Kibblestone Scout Camp regarding events
- Receive the Clerk’s report – correspondence received and progress report on matters not on the agenda
- Financial matters:
- Note the completion of audit for year ending 31 March 2022/23
- Agree to set up a direct debit for payment of water bills at the village hall
- Receive and approve payments authorisations report
- Receive and approve financial statement and bank reconciliation for the last period
